Der Farang a German-language periodic newsmagazine
offers a few articles and many ads on places where German-speaking tourists
are especially welcomed, but all others are welcome, too. A wide variety
of international services are advertised, including German language television
program schedules.

L'Echo
L'Echo a French language
periodic newsmagazine, "L'Echo du Siam",.
This magazine emphasizes French cuisine
and places that especially welcome French speaking tourists, but of course
all tourists and regulars are welcome
too. It also announces that it intends to produce another
periodic news magazine in English
and Thai, to be called "Elephant", no copies
of which have been found on the local
scene at the time of this writing. One recent
issue listed French hotels and restaurants, a Belgian restaurant,
two Swiss restaurants, a hotel and cabaret, an Italian restaurant, and
various others.
