L'Echo
     L'Echo  a  French  language  periodic  newsmagazine,  "L'Echo  du  Siam",.     This  magazine emphasizes French cuisine and places that especially welcome French speaking tourists, but of course  all  tourists  and  regulars  are  welcome too.  It  also announces that it intends to produce another  periodic  news  magazine  in  English  and  Thai,  to  be  called  "Elephant", no copies of which  have  been  found  on  the  local  scene  at  the  time  of  this writing. One recent issue listed French  hotels  and restaurants, a Belgian restaurant, two Swiss restaurants, a hotel and cabaret, an Italian restaurant, and various others.

     The  primary  non - Tha language news weekly for Pattaya is The Pattaya Mail, available from late Thursday  evening  through  to  the  following  Thursday,  with  the  editions  being  dated  from  Friday to Thursday.  The  Pattaya  Mail  is  the  primary  English  language  newspaper  prepared  for the Pattaya area,  and  its  website gets a lot of worldwide attention. It is an award winning newspaper in the Eastern Seaboard area of Thailand, for good reason.

     The  local  weekly  English  language newspaper, the Pattaya Mail, has teamed up with Pattaya City, the  Pattaya  Business  &  Tourism  Association,  the  Thai  Hotel  Association  (Eastern  Chapter),   Thai Airways  International,  and  the  Tourism  Authority  of Thailand to produce an outstanding, totally up-to-date,  exceptionally  well  written  and beautifully presented tourist and business visitors magazine. The magazine  is  issued "In  celebration  of  His  Majesty  the  King's  Sixth  Cycle",         which  is celebrated nationwide  on  December 5.   The  tourist  magazine,    "Pattaya, Thailand: Fun City by the Sea"  is now being  distributed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in its new Pattaya area facility, and doubtless by the other sponsors as well.
